About Us

Dialogue Network offers a virtual workspace with an official and an internal site aiming at promoting peace building and conflict resolution. The official part of the network is open to all visitors, and will be offering information on peacebuilding, dialogue and projects within the network. The internal site consists of groups divided into organizations, which can share information on their cause, project development, challenges and promote cooperation on different levels, as well as personal communication and network sharing. The internal page has a system for planning, starting and developing projects related to peacebuilding and all the members are able to save and share documents in their own profile area.

This project is inisiated by The Student Peace Prize, ISFIT Dialogue Groups 2009 and Dialogue Africa, the follow-up project of ISFIT Dialogue Groups 2007. We are aiming at creating a common ground for cooperation across boarders and cultures, age and experience, beliefs and dreams of the future. We wish to make it easier for peacebuilders from different parts of the world to share experiences, communicate, motivate and help each other in the work- united by a common goal of Peace.

Dialogue Network aims at:

  • Arrange for and offer training in project development that promotes peace and conflict reconciliation.
  • Be a database for sharing of information and competence across state- and cultural boarders.
  • Promote and facilitate for a global and multi-cultural cooperation for young peacebuilders.
  • Ease follow-up work and be a tool for ensuring continuency.
  • Increase credibility, capability and capacity in the work of the Student Peace Prize, ISFIT Dialogue Groups 2009 and Dialogue Africa.
